With Whom Should We be? Is Having More People Around Us Useful?

I have always thought that everything, I really mean everything on this planet and even probably, in the so-called universe, is in a relation with themselves and with other things. life, for instance, is like a bowl of Cheerios…In it, everything is in a circle. It happened and will happen that the best laid plans can have a hole in it. Sometimes we float, sometimes we sink, sometimes we get soggy, and sometimes stay crisp. Cheerios can be rather bland…the people we invite to our table/life may contribute flavor to the bowl. They sprinkle their habits good or bad, opinions, attitudes, way of thinking and more onto our Cheerios. These can be sweet, sour, bitter or tasteless. You, then, simply, feel why this happens to me? Why only me? Have I had anything to do with this, like this you go asking and asking until you feel overwhelmed which you did not deserve.

Anthon St. Maarten concerning the relationship with others and their positions and influences on us, rightly puts that, “there are only two kinds of people who can drain your energy: those you love, and those you fear. In both instances it is you who let them in. They did not force their way into your aura, or pry their way into your reality experience.”DSCN1755

Lesson I learned that we should always be careful and enough intellectually frank and open to choose wisely who we will allow to sprinkle on our Cheerios. As Bangambiki Habyarimana says “a bad friend is worse than an enemy, an enemy you can see and avoid, but to detect an insincere friend is hard”.
